Snow White and the Huntsman store

Here is what the store looks like! I bought the golden dress, I figure it will be useful in a later outfit for a costume or something!

New Pretty n' love!

So there is a new section of pretty n' love! (previously pretty in pink) and I love the colors! Very.. neutral. The dress in the middle is a personal favorite from the message, so let's go check out the store...

Here are the clothes:) I took a screen shot of the new ones, the ones that say "new" next to them. The pink coat is great!

Making Creative Outfits

If you know me on stardoll then you know that I am a huge fan of creative outfits. A lot of my outfits are made out of suite shop items and/or layers of different clothes. 

Here is some helpful advice when creating the outfits:

* Think of what inspires you the most. Is is nature? The seasons? Animals? Makeup? Renaissance? 

* Take the inspiring theme and put it into an outfit. you need layers, and a basic shape of a dress. 

* If you don't want to do the theme, note if you have a lot of a particular item in storage. Do you have a lot of black and white, or flowers? Those come in handy, trust me!! Because if you have a bunch of mix matched items it just won't work!!

*Make a room for all of your creations. When you are done, and don't have anywhere to put the items in the suite, make a room for them. They take up space and are a creative, cute, and fun display. 

*Some common themes I use when I create my outfits are long poofy dresses. As you can see I have many flower ones, and a few cloud ones. What is my theme? Nature! Some of my dresses turn out better than others, but it's all in the fun. The green dress was Christmas-tree inspired. And there is also a mannequin dress, I have about 60 mannequins lying around my suite so I may as well put them to use sometime.. 

*Ask friends to send you gifts for your materials!! If you want to make a "hello" cupcake dress, just ask!! They are not expensive gifts and are often sent by people with non-superstar memberships so they aren't too hard to obtain. Maybe promise to put them in your presentation as a donator/contributor to your creations! ^.^
